The TACC was created for the purposes of monitoring, gathering, and sharing knowledge of legal matters of interest to the construction industry, mentoring and assisting in the education and professional development of attorneys practicing construction law, evaluation and certification of specialists in construction law, and providing a forum for fraternal interaction and networking for attorneys serving the construction industry.

The TACC is an exclusive group of lawyers who are licensed in Tennessee, and who have a strong construction law practice. Within that framework, it provides comprehensive continuing legal education focused on construction and ethics for its members, as well as a forum for the discussion of trends and problems affecting its clients. It also provides information and guidance for legislative changes and proposals that can affect the construction industry.
